POWER TO THE PEOP... UHHH.... PERSON?

Once upon a time there was a country: Strong, proud, united and noble. So noble was this country, that when it saw injustice, it went to war against itself to correct it. This nobility continued to grow and grow, so much so that it began to penalize the majority while empowering the minority. However, many in the minority were not so noble, and took advantage.
So what's wrong with that? Those in the minority need every advantage so they can get ahead. "Hey, they owe me this, and I'm going to take it" became the mantra of the day. Politicians began to capitalize on this way of thinking. By catering to all segments of the minority population, they found that votes could be had, and since the only purpose of the politician is to be elected, they embraced this noble philosophy. "I am the protector of those who need protecting, and anyone who disagrees with me should be shamed", and of course, how can the majority object?
This way of thinking then spilled into the workplace. Fifteen people in an office can laugh and tell jokes until one objects. Does the company side with the majority? Hell no! One by one, employees are brought into interrogation, and return to their cubicle cowed, trembling with fear. The Human Resource Department has morphed from the friend of the worker, to judge, jury and executioner of the same.
In movies such as "Doctor Zhivago" and many WW2 Nazi films, it is not unusual for a Communist or Nazi official to say "Your attitude has been noticed!" How is this different from our workplace and country today? I'm sure I'll get grief from my wife for this blog for that very same reason. Wake up America, we are being led like sheep by those who write the rules. We are the majority (that means most of us).

Are we being led to the gas chambers without resisting?
